Heya, thought I'd start a thread where we can all talk about our spooky experiences.... I'll be honest, I haven't had many, but there are 2 things that have happened and were weird enough to stand out in my mind, so here is one of them (I promise I'm not crazy lol.... yeah yeah, I know crazy people always say that though)!

Experience No 1

When I was 16 (I'm 26 now) I had a nasty case of the flu and was tucked up in bed for a week or so... towards the end of that week I started to feel lots better, but milked being off school for as long as I could (as you do lol) so one day I was in bed, reading mags and watching telly when my mum came in to let me know she was going shopping and asked if there was anything I wanted.... I gave her my list of goodies and off she went...

About an hour later, in the middle of watching a DVD, I hear footsteps on the stairs and banging on my door - now, my bedroom door was quite loose and shook and rarttled whenever people banged on it, which it did this time.  So anyway, I yelled out "yeah come in" and heard my mum reply "no, its ok, I just wanted to make sure you were alright" and that was it.... so, me wanting my goodies from the shopping trip got out of bed and went downstairs to get my bits n pieces.... but when I got down there the house was empty....no sign of mum.... or anyone. 

It was as I started going back up the stairs that I heard my mum turn the key in the lock and saw her enter the hallway, with bags of shopping in her hands.  She looks at me and says "hey, what are you doing out of bed? I was just wondering how you were..." and started bringing the bags through to  the kitchen...

I told her what happened, but she put it down to me not being well, tired, feverish, whatever... but the fact was I was well by this point and just skiving off school for as long as I could. I was wide awake, not sleepy and the whole this just confused the hell outta me!

So, what do you think of this weird event.  My imagination?  Or maybe my mum's thoughts reaching out somehow? Or a thoughtful ghost who wanted to see how I was?
